Domestic home furniture consumption in Belgium (including Luxembourg) amounted to worth Euro 3.5 billion.
Home furniture distribution in Belgium is in the hands of the specialist retailers. Among the buying groups operating in the country: Group Vanneste, Quorum Interiors, Regent Meubel and Europa Meubel. Most of the independent furniture chains operating on the Belgian market are international brands, particularly Dutch. The Swedish giant IKEA is currently the market leader with six stores in the country.
The analysis of the home furniture retail industry in Belgium includes short profiles of major home furniture distributors with analyses of sales performances and retail formats (bedroom specialists, DIY, furniture discount stores, kitchen and bathroom specialists, large-scale furniture specialists, specialists in RTA furniture/jeune habitat).
