Summary: a brief statement of the content of the report
The furniture production in Ireland was worth about Eur 460 million in 2008. More than a half of local demand is satisfied by foreign furniture producers. British companies control the leading positions in many furniture segments such as dining and living room, and kitchen furniture. Flows from China are rapidly growing, especially in the office furniture segment.
