ZOW Istanbul, the International Supplier Fair for the Furniture and Interior Design Industries was held in March 2014 and recorded over 11,500 international visitors. This year the motto of the fair was “Design formed by Culture” and the Essentials Seminars organized on 21 and 22 March offered the right platform to develop this subject. Architects, interior designers and construction companies came together to discuss the interaction between design and engineering at ZOW Essentials. CSIL was invited to deliver the speech: “World furniture outlook: global market forecasts and perspective for the Turkish Industry” presenting the main CSIL findings concerning the global furniture market and the fast growing markets and providing insight to the development of furniture production and international trade. Last but not least, the speech focused on the current positioning of the Turkish furniture Industry and on its perspectives and performance in the main export markets
