Furniture China 2025: BEYOND NEXT starts in Pudong

Marking its 30th anniversary milestone in 2025, Furniture China and Maison Shanghai will welcome thousands of global furniture traders and industry professionals from September 9-13 at Shanghai’s SWEECC and SNIEC exhibition venues in Pudong. Under the visionary theme “BEYOND NEXT”, the 2025 edition aims to drive transformative innovation across furniture design, manufacturing and product development, while strengthening global trade partnerships to create new value for the international furniture industry. With an exhibition area surpassing 350,000 sqm, the event will gather a lineup of 3,500+ exhibitors.
Sustainability Meets Actionable Innovation
Furniture China at SNIEC will maintain its tradition of excellence in showcasing comprehensive finished furniture and premium materials from September 10-13. The exhibition presents various product categories across specialised halls to meet global sourcing needs. Upholstery is featured in halls W1-W4, while living and bedroom furniture occupy W5. Hall N1 focuses on sleep solutions, with tables and chairs displayed in N2-N4. Halls N5 and E8A offer high-end manufacturing materials, including hardware, fabrics, and accessories. International brands are in E1-E2, contemporary designs in E3-E4, and innovative brand concepts in E6-E7. Office furniture is available in E12 and E15.

Additionally, nearly 20 outdoor halls expand the selection, providing buyers with diverse options across the furniture and furnishings industry. This structured layout ensures efficient sourcing for varied market demands. Moreover, in addition to the existing Outdoor Furniture in N2, Hall E8B is set to reopen as the premier destination for Garden Furniture, transforming into a vibrant showcase spanning approximately 8,000 square meters. This dedicated space will highlight a curated selection of high-quality, durable, and functional garden furniture products, offering innovative designs for outdoor living at its finest.
The next edition will debut the Commercial High-end Contract Furniture Hall at E5, offering innovative spatial solutions for premium commercial spaces. Embracing ESG principles, it will cover offices, retail, fitness, entertainment, and cultural venues. Moving beyond product displays, the hall will feature immersive, scenario-based showcases for a more intuitive experience.
A Global Vision: China’s Design Proposal to the World
This year, Maison Shanghai is upgrading to the Design Week and Exhibition, marking a new era for the brand. Focusing on “The Value of Design”, the exhibition will activate the entire venue of SWEECC from 9-12 September, alongside over 800 brands to explore trendy home décor, furnishings, and interior solutions, trying its best to satisfy various trade needs and deals.

By expanding products to a wider range, Maison Shanghai will spotlight the diversity in soft decorations for interior design, with 4 theme pavilions to demonstrate stylish, aesthetic and refined living. H1 elevates spatial storytelling through its showcase of exceptional interior furnishings and building materials, offering bespoke solutions for discerning aesthetic preferences. H2 pioneers trend interpretation through immersive lifestyle showcases, empowering the global design community with forward-looking market perspectives grounded in real-world scenarios. H3—Design Highland gathers leading design brands and creative talents. Each brand will get a curated space where furniture becomes art in surreal settings, connecting premium designs with high-value audiences to elevate both perception and commercial impact. At H4, Factory Direct Sales zone brings together 200+ elite export factories being rigorously selected for their OEM/ODM expertise, which serves as a streamlined platform designed exclusively for designers and buyers to discover production partners with confidence.
More than 100 cutting-edge forums, awards, events and special exhibitions are dedicatedly under planning, including the Maison Design Conference, Gold Idea Design Award, Design of Designers (DOD), as well as various customised activities.
