Vietnam’s furniture industry has experienced remarkable growth, fueled by its strong export performance and competitive manufacturing advantages, making it a key player in the global furniture landscape.

The 16th Vietnam International Furniture and Home Accessories Fair, VIFA EXPO 2025, concluded successfully from March 5 to 8, 2025, at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. This premier event attracted a remarkable 659 exhibitors, including 317 Vietnamese exhibitors and 342 International exhibitors from 19 other countries & territories, showcasing over 2,534 booths. The product mix was diverse, featuring 61% furniture, 19% furnishing, 8% handicrafts, and 12% hardware, machines, wood materials, and services.

VIFA EXPO 2025 welcomed an impressive 20,125 visitors over four trade days, with 7,546 international visitors from 83 countries and territories. These visitors primarily hailed from China, the USA, the UK, EU, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, India, Malaysia, Australia, and new markets like Argentina, Nepal, and Ghana. The international buyer breakdown was notable, with 56% from Asia, 17% from Europe, 18% from the Americas, 8% from Oceania, and 1% from Africa.

The event was highly successful in fostering business connections, with 42% of buyers expressing interest in placing orders, 23% seeking new products and services, and 14% aiming to expand their networks. Notably, 8% of surveyed buyers were interested in orders exceeding $1 million. According to preliminary reports recorded from some of the exhibitors, contracts and memoranda of understanding worth approximately $200 million were signed during the fair. A significant majority of surveyed exhibitors, 84%, successfully secured contractual agreements during the event.

As a key export event in Asia, VIFA EXPO 2025 was part of a prestigious series of furniture fairs in March. The fair solidified its position as a key furniture exhibition brand in Asia and the oldest in Vietnam, drawing international buyers seeking high-quality, export-standard furniture sources.

VIFA EXPO offered engaging activities and support programs for visitors and international buyers, such as industry seminars, free shuttle buses, official hotels, VIP buyer complimentary hotel stays, factory visit tours, airport support, and a gala dinner.

VIFA EXPO 2025 was not only a trade event but also a crucial bridge for the Global furniture community to meet and connect with Vietnamese suppliers. With its 17-year history and 16 successful editions, VIFA EXPO 2025 has affirmed the growing position of the Vietnamese furniture industry and contributed positively to the development of the Southeast Asian furniture industry.
