VIFA EXPO 2026 welcomes over 6,000 International Buyers

The Vietnamese wood and furniture industry is increasingly demonstrating its influence on the global market, thanks to optimized production capacities and export turnover.
The 17th Vietnam International Furniture and Home Accessories Fair (VIFA EXPO 2026) recently concluded with resounding numbers. Held from March 8 to 11, 2026, across two major exhibition centers in Ho Chi Minh City – WTC EXPO (Binh Duong Ward) and SKY EXPO (Trung My Tay Ward) the event marked a milestone in the brand’s nearly two-decade journey.
VIFA EXPO 2026 at a glance

In 2025, VIFA EXPO was officially recognized by the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) as: “The largest long-standing annual international furniture and handicrafts export fair in Vietnam (since 2008)”.
Building on that foundation, VIFA EXPO 2026 continued to uphold its status with a total scale of 45,000 m² across two venues.
The event attracted 650 exhibitors, including 338 Vietnamese enterprises and 312 international companies from 19 countries and territories, spanning 2,500 booths.
The product structure remained diverse:
- Indoor & Outdoor Furniture: Accounting for the majority share at 79% of total displayed products.
- Handicrafts: Accounting for 8%.
- Accessories, Machinery, and Supporting Services: Accounting for 13%.
International Presence from Key Markets
Throughout the four-day exhibition, VIFA EXPO welcomed 17,215 visitors, 6,360 international buyers from 110 countries and territories, primarily from key markets such as China, the USA, India, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Canada, and the UK, as well as emerging potential markets like Mexico, Brazil, and the UAE.
The event was highly successful in driving business connections:
- 26% of buyers expressed their intention to place orders.
- 27% of buyers were seeking new products and services.
- 21% of visitors aimed to expand their professional networks.
- 11% of customers surveyed expressed interest in orders valued at over $1 million USD.
According to preliminary reports from exhibitors, contracts and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth approximately $190 million USD were signed during the fair. Furthermore, 80% of surveyed businesses successfully secured contract agreements directly at the event.
Global Exposure and Local Visibility
The organizers of VIFA EXPO 2026 carried out an extensive promotion campaign at both global and local levels. Internationally, the event was featured in leading industry publications, while domestically it gained coverage across major news outlets and economic platforms, ensuring broad visibility.
VIFA EXPO has solidified its status as Vietnam’s longest running and premier furniture exhibition within Asia’s prestigious March sourcing circuit. Beyond trade activities, the fair offers an integrated ecosystem with industry seminars, free shuttle buses, official hotels, complimentary accommodation for VIP buyers, factory tours, and exclusive networking events such as Business Lunches and Gala Dinners.
Showcasing Vietnamese Design for Global Markets
At VIFA EXPO 2026, the “Mascot Design” and “Creative Furniture” showcases took center stage, highlighting a strategic shift from traditional OEM models to proactive, in-house design. By honoring Vietnamese-made products that align with sustainable global trends, the event provides a vital platform for businesses to strengthen their international brand presence.
