Bausch Decor GmbH has been renamed SURTECO
DECOR GmbH – Süddekor is to merge

Laichingen, 10 July 2014 – As part of an employee information event, the workforce at SÜDDEKOR GmbH in Laichingen was informed yesterday about the changes in the corporate structure of SGE Papier, which belongs to the SURTECO Group.

With its entry in the trade register on 20 June 2014, Bausch Decor GmbH in Buttenwiesen was renamed SURTECO DECOR GmbH. As part of the informative event, information was also provided on a further step in which SÜDDEKOR GmbH is to be merged with the new SURTECO DECOR GmbH. This process should be completed within the second half of 2014 and should apply retroactively as of 1 January 2014. This means that the two firms Bausch Decor in Buttenwiesen and SÜDDEKOR in Laichingen will become one company under law, acting jointly and with headquarters in Buttenwiesen. This company will be SURTECO DECOR GmbH, which will act as legal successor.

The management team of SGE Papier emphasised that all contracts and obligations from SÜDDEKOR will thus be transferred to the new SURTECO DECOR GmbH. The brands Bausch Decor and Süddekor will still be used as product brands within SURTECO DECOR. The businesses DAKOR in Heroldstatt, SÜDDEKOR Art in Willich and Süddekor LLC in the USA will continue to operate as subsidiaries under the new SURTECO DECOR GmbH. The firm BauschLinnemann in Sassenberg also remains unaffected by the merger plans, and will continue to be run as a legally independent affiliate within SGE Papier.

With these measures, the management of SURTECO’s SGE Paper is taking the next logical step in the direction of bundling the decorative printing activities and is pushing ahead with the integration of SÜDDEKOR within the SURTECO Group.
