In 2014 Taiwan registered a positive performance on international market both in term of exports (+2.7% compared to 2013) and imports (+4.1% compared to 2013), with a mid-term growth of about 15% between 2009 and 2014 for both flows. Expected yearly growth in the period 2014-2019 is equal to about 4% for Taiwan and South Korea, and around 3% for Thailand, Singapore and Australia. Use of incandescence lighting is today quite low for Japan, while it is still between 25% and 30% in Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia. The market for LED lighting looks mature in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan.
