Lectra showcases 3D technology at furniture industry seminar
Industry executives meet to discover how to build efficiencies into the entire product development and manufacturing process

strong>Giovanna Castellina, leading expert from the Centre for Industrial Studies (CSIL) and key speaker of the event, confirmed: “The UK is one of the few countries seeing a significant rebound in the upholstered furniture market and we forecast that it will continue in this growth phase, 2% each year, until at least 2018”. And “Competition in this sector remains stiff, with developing countries continuing to invest in new manufacturing facilities, as well as improving their design capabilities”, she continued.
