The Russian market for lighting fixtures reached a value of RUB 120 billion in 2019, registering a 4.8% increase compared to 2018 in local currency (even more, around 7%, using EUR as currency).

Imports were worth over RUB 58 billion (EUR 804 million), accounting for almost 49% of the total consumption.

In 2020, a reduction of lighting fixtures consumption over 10% in Rubles and almost 20% in Eur is expected.

Consumption of lighting fixtures per capita is around 13 USD: approximately the same than in China, Turkey or in the MENA Region, one third than in Europe.

Russia weights approximately 1.1% on the world production of lighting fixtures (13th in the global ranking) and 2% on the world consumption (10th in the global ranking).

Consumption of LED lighting fixtures in 2019 is estimated by CSIL in 1,147 million Eur (62% of the total market in value), to reach 1,368 million Eur in 2023 (82%-83% as share).
